Read on to learn more about the tooth replacement options we have available to patients.
Tooth Replacement Options
It can be overwhelming to decide on a tooth replacement option that is beneficial for your budget and lifestyle. We are happy to work with you to make a recommendation that will improve the quality of your life. We may recommend a tooth replacement treatment such as:
Mini Dental Implants
If you are interested in receiving dental implants but are hesitant due to treatment time and expense, mini implants are a wonderful option. As the name suggests, a mini implant is a smaller implant that offers many benefits to patients, like less cost than conventional implants, less invasive, less healing, and less time involved.
Specialty Dentures
There are a variety of dentures that we offer to patients based on their specific needs. Specialty dentures can come in several different styles including:
- Full or partial dentures, cast metal, flexibility, temporary
- Conventional/immediate (done immediately at the time a tooth is removed)
- Overdenture
- Implant attached and supported denture
Dental Crowns
This option is often used when the tooth root is still intact, but the structure of the tooth is severely damaged. The process involves placing a tooth colored cap over the structure of the tooth, protecting and strengthening the remaining tooth structure and restoring the shape and function of the tooth. This treatment is often also used to complete other treatments such as dental implants and root canals.
Dental Bridges
When a patient is missing teeth, this option is an excellent way to replace the teeth and restore their function as well. A dental bridge is a beautiful artificial tooth structure that is used to fill in a gap where teeth are missing, have been extracted by a dentist, have experienced severe trauma, or are experiencing severe decay.
